EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

AIOps Foundation team within CX Cloud Operations & Trust defines and delivers cloud operations platform and tools to customers and internal users. The aim is to leverage AI-first principles to level up all aspects of cloud operation services for different CX products. We are looking for enthusiastic engineers and innovators who are passionate about technology, fascinated by its unlimited possibilities and can join us in our journey to help every customer to bring out the best in their business with SAP.

Core Responsibilities

We are seeking a Product Specialist skilled in Product Ownership and Project Management to innovate our operational services.

Your role will include:
• Leading the strategic advancement of software products in collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and the product management team.
• Maintaining and advancing a comprehensive product roadmap, ensuring timely and efficient achievement of key milestones.
• Gathering customer requirements and feedback, translating them into actionable development goals.
• Keeping a well-organized product backlog aligned with business objectives.
• Working closely with fellow Product Managers to identify integration points and explore potential service scenarios.
• Coordinating with the Development Manager to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery of product goals.
• Analyzing data and user feedback to recommend product improvements.
• Facilitating communication among teams to build consensus and drive action.

Qualifications for a Successful Candidate:
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in a product management role within the Software/Technology sector, particularly with complex cloud-native projects and short release cycles.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, including microservices, API-centric approaches, and distributed systems.
• Broad knowledge across various functional areas, including development and UI/UX.
• Proven ability to plan, manage, track, and deliver on commitments successfully.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with different cloud IaaS and PaaS layers, such as Azure, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• 5-6 years of relevant work experience in software development, with 3-4 years in product management.
• Experience with AI technologies and tools.
• Practical experience with Agile Methodology.
• Understanding of the OKR framework for goal management.
• A collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with a proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 74,600 - 141,000 CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
