About the Job:
Mindwire Systems is seeking the services of a Cyber Governance, Risk & Compliance Officer for an exciting opportunity with one of our Valued Clients.
Client Location: Ottawa, ON
Working Environment: Remote (Must reside in Canada)
Responsibilities but not limited to:
- • Develop, implement, and monitor cyber security protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Provide advice and guidance to the business on cyber security and compliance matters.
• Ensure the accuracy of cyber security and other regulatory reports.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk register.
• Create and update technical documentation.
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments.
• Perform comprehensive software security assessments.
• Write security policies, standards, and directives.
• Weigh in on business risks and suggest appropriate information security measures.
• Experience with Service Now, particularly the Integrated Risk Module
- • College diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering or a related field
• Federal Government Security Clearance: Reliability
• Minimum 5 years of previous experience as senior GRC and/or security audit role
• Experience with ServiceNow IRM (integrated risk management) module
• Experience with PCI (payment card industry) security standards
• Experience with ISO 27001 security framework and gap assessments
• Experience with cloud (Azure)
• Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification or equivalent certification
