Your main objectives will be to support our local HR management team and practice leaders through various initiatives, develop trusting relationships with them, use your role wisely and create a climate of trust towards employees. You will be responsible for analyzing HR data to produce various reports and maintain the dashboard, while ensuring compliance with company policies and practices. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our HR team in Quebec and with our national colleagues.

You will provide day-to-day support to the Human Resources Managers for our various functions. The role will allow you to act as a key contributor to the HR community, to managers and to the management of KPMG in Quebec. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Director, HR and Employee Experience Strategy on a variety of projects.

What you will do
  • Produce and analyze various types of monthly reports (vacation, overtime, probation period, employee performance, etc.) with a view to popularizing and sharing them with the various functions within KPMG, while identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
  • Collect and analyze various organizational performance indicators (turnover rate, departures, absenteeism rate) and be responsible for the HR dashboard.
  • Actively participate in the organization, coordination, logistics and facilitation of various meetings for the HR team
    Assist in the organization, coordination, logistics and sometimes facilitation of training and development sessions for employees
  • Champion our Officevibe employee engagement tool (updates, communications, training, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Human Resources Directors on various projects, the performance management cycle and other related initiatives
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Respond to employee inquiries about benefits, company policies and HR procedures, or direct them to the right resources, while fostering open and positive communication.
What you bring to the role
  • At least 2 years' experience in human resources
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related discipline
  • Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel and Outlook), including Excel at your fingertips
  • Proven ability to learn, energy and curiosity
  • Strong relationship-building skills; ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with tact and discretion
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with maturity and professionalism
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines despite high volume of work, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize according to the requirements of multiple stakeholders
  • Strong sense of autonomy and initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage resources and solve problems


This position requires fluent English to support our regional and national team members that are unilingual English speakers as well as the creation and interpretation of dashboards in English. Daily written communications in English will be part of the scope of this role.
