These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.As a Workday consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing a broad range of consulting services across various Workday applications. You will provide consulting services to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of Workday applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.

Meaningful work you'll be part of
As a Senior Associate, you shall be responsible for leading and participating in the successful implementation of Workday's Adaptive Planning , Budgets and Financials Reporting solutions. You will provide Workday product and implementation expertise to our engagements. You will work with PwC Canada's clients to document their business requirements and help configure and test the Workday solution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Analyze detailed finance & accounting , HR (nice to have) processes to identify improvement opportunities in the following areas:
• Plan to analyze: budgeting and forecasting capabilities (financial and workforce)
• Reporting and analytics: operational, finance, and HR reporting

• Simplify complex processes to improve reliability and achieve cost and cycle time reductions, as well as managing work streams of a complex project to implement improvements.
• Identify and address client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.
• Learn and perform in functional and technical capacities, which includes the following areas:
• System application implementations and software configurations
• Produce deliverables within a diverse, fast paced environment, collaborating effectively across teams and juggling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.

• Contribute to innovation initiatives to support moderniz ation of the finance and HR planning & analysis functions powered by Workday Adaptive
• Utilization of PC applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project), data analysis and visualization tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI) and business levels of fluency in multiple languages to write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently, emphasizing the ability to capture effectively clients' needs and understand their systems enough to be able to translate those needs into system functionality.

Consulting experience with demonstrated experience in :

• Finance Planning & Analysis
• Workforce and Skills Planning is a plus
• Financial consolidation is a plus

• Good understanding of process improvement, chart of accounts design/management, and applications of at least one of the following focus areas: finance transformation, performance management, financial systems optimization, financial modelling.
• Experience with EPM systems solutions , including Adaptive Planning, Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud, IBM Cognos TM1, Anaplan, OneStream, Tagetik, Vena is a plus
• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities in both English and French
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse people and individuals at various levels within the organization
• Superior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills
• Must have an interest for learning and an obsession about figuring out how things work
• You are passionate about everyone's success
• Travel: This position will require some travel (up to 20 %)
• The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada
