Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving operational excellence? Join our Enterprise Data Strategy & Services team as a Senior Business Advisor, where you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization.
In this role, you will provide confidential advice and guidance to senior management on key operations and strategic initiatives, leveraging your expertise in data, algorithms, and experimental design to support system implementations of embedded analytics, tools and processes. Your insights will not only influence decision-making and problem-solving but also identify opportunities to increase operational effectiveness across the board. You'll also make a significant impact and help the organization navigate the complexities of business process change.

In this role, you'll work primarily from our Richmond office, with some flexibility to work from your home in B.C.

Salary: $116,186 - $141,166 annually

- Support the integration of embedded analytics, machine learning models, and advanced algorithms into decision-making processes.
- Lead process and change management initiatives to drive adoption of predictive, prescriptive, and optimization algorithms.
- Advise leadership on data, measurement, and experimentation-related business process improvement initiatives, including research into the implementation and its impacts.
- Facilitate strategic business planning discussions and provide guidance on implementing strategic objectives.
- Evaluate business improvement options, project viability, and economic implications through business case analysis and feasibility assessments.
- Conduct comprehensive program reviews to identify operational efficiencies, financial inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization and automation, with a core focus on improving key data, measurement, and experimentation-related processes, outputs, and outcomes.
- Leverage AI, machine learning, and statistical modeling to drive innovation and process optimization.
- Implement experimentation frameworks to validate and optimize machine learning algorithms.
- Communicate and present complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including senior management.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams and build productive relationships by leveraging a consultative approach.
- Use data-driven insights to identify challenges and opportunities.
- Navigate change with flexibility and resilience in a dynamic environment.
- Evaluate situations carefully and make informed decisions on critical organization wide initiatives.
- Lead and support cross-functional teams with project related activities.
- A master's degree or designation in a related field.
- A minimum of three years of related experience including experience in:
- analytical and root cause analysis
- strategy development
- performance measurement
- Experimental design and execution experience
- Process design and related change management experience
- Experience with AI-driven decision support systems and predictive analytics is highly desirable.
- Algorithm deployment and MLOps experience is highly desirable.
- Consulting experience is highly desirable.
