As a key member in the document review practice, you will be responsible for leading and executing client engagements, overseeing a team of document reviewers tasked with reviewing and coding documents for legal proceedings and investigations. Your role will involve close collaboration with peers in KPMG's broader eDiscovery practice, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment with client requirements.

What you will do
Leveraging your expertise, you will drive the development and implementation of document review protocols, while actively managing and allocating resources to meet project deadlines. Through your strategic leadership, you will play a central role in managing the document review process, ultimately contributing to the success of KPMG's eDiscovery services.
  • Direct and supervise a team of document review professionals, providing clear instruction and oversight while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Develop document review protocols and conduct training sessions for the document review team.
  • Efficiently allocate and manage review resources, ensuring alignment with project deadlines and client specifications.
  • Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the review process, proactively identifying and addressing issues to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality services.
  • Monitor and report on review progress and proactively identify and address issues to ensure consistency, accuracy and timely delivery of services.
  • Utilize analytics to optimize the document review process.
  • Conduct second-level reviews and quality assurance assessments when necessary.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, addressing client requirements, providing updates, monitoring budgets, and managing expectations to develop client relationships.
  • Prepare reports documenting all facets of the review process.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives by drafting proposals, creating materials, and actively engaging with potential clients through presentations and client events.
  • As needed, support the broader Forensic Technology and eDiscovery practice in file delivery.
What you bring to the role
  • Three-to-five years of relevant experience managing eDiscovery document review projects.
  • Experience using the Relativity platform.
  • Strong relationship management, analytical skills, problem solving, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Candidate should have an interest in and an ability to rapidly learn new tools and technologies.
  • A detailed knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and workflows.
  • Demonstrated skills in project management and capable of managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
  • A professional, collaborative and client-oriented attitude.
