As part of our team, you'll help our client with procurement strategies, project structuring, financing and negotiations.
Meaningful work you'll be part of
As a Capital Projects & Infrastructure Senior Manager , you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Supervise and contribute to dra fting reports and information documents of a financial nature, business cases and analyses related to various procurement methods
• Coordinate the preparation of proposals for several projects
• Oversee the development and review of complex financial models
• Participate in the development of the strategic planning, granting and financial structuring of capital and infrastructure projects
• Develop an in-depth understanding of various sectors such a s transportation, health or energy
• Become the point of contact and liaise between PwC and client's teams
• Understand and assess client needs to provide them with information essential to making informed decisions
• Advise clients on best practices in the management of capital and infrastructure projects, and support them in the implementation of these recommendations
• Contribute to the development of the CP&I practice and the PwC brand
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• R elevant professional experience, in major capital projects and infrastructure
• Strong communication , presentation and writing skills, including the ability to understand and effectively summarize complex documents
• Proven technical and analytical capabilities including proven financial analysis and financial modelling skills (applied to infrastructure and/or energy projects )
• Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Confidence, desire and ability to learn all aspects of infrastructure sectors in a short timeframe
• A taste for teamwork, on complex and often demanding projects;
• A university degree in a relevant discipline (business, accounting, finance, procurement, law, engineering, political science, etc. )
• A professional designation (or an interest in pursuing it) in finance (CFA, CBV) or in project management (PMP) will be considered an asset
• The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada
• This role doesn't support completion of the Canadian CPA designation
