The Opportunity:

We are seeking for an experienced and detail-oriented Organizational Performance Business Analyst to join our IT department. This role will primarily focus on evaluating and analyzing the impact of IT initiatives on various teams across the organization. The successful candidate will play a critical role in improving corporate performance by measuring the impact of IT contributions.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in building compelling presentations and translating business performance data into actionable insights for executive stakeholders

What you can expect to do here:
  • Impact Analysis
    • Set KPIs for technology functions and track benefits, cost savings and business satisfaction scores
    • Assess how IT projects and changes impact operational efficiency, productivity, and overall performance in different departments
  • Reporting and Insights
    • Develop and present reports and dashboards that illustrate the impact of IT initiatives on other teams
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on the analysis of initiative-related data
    • Oversee risk management processes related to IT investments and operations, ensuring alignment with organizational risk appetite and compliance requirement
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with project managers, IT teams, and stakeholders from various departments to understand the scope and impact of IT initiatives
    • Facilitate communication between IT and other teams to address performance-related concerns and ensure alignment with broader organizational objectives
  • Process Evaluation
    • Evaluate how IT initiatives affect existing processes and workflows in different teams
    • Identify potential areas of improvement or adjustments needed to maximize the benefits of IT changes
  • Change Management Support
    • Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of IT-related changes and their impact on other departments
    • Provide feedback and support to help manage the transition and optimize the outcomes of IT initiatives
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in performance analysis and management
    • Continuously enhance analysis methods and tools to improve the assessment of IT initiatives
  • Training and Guidance
    • Offer guidance and support to teams on interpreting performance metrics related to IT initiatives
    • Develop training materials or sessions as needed to help teams understand and utilize performance data effectively

What you'll bring to WSP:
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus.
  • Experience
    • Proven experience as a performance analyst, business analyst, or in a similar role with a focus on analysing the impact of IT initiatives.
  • Skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools)
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Exceptional skills in creating and delivering high-impact presentations
    • Ability to translate complex IT concepts and metrics into clear, actionable insights for business leaders
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
    • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is desirable.
    • Familiarity with change management principles is a plus
    • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling specific to IT operations
