BILINGUAL PROPOSAL WRITER

The Bid Management team is comprised of dedicated proposal management professionals that share a common vision: be the "go-to" team trusted to lead all RFPs for Rogers Business. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Bid Management, the successful candidate will collaborate with Sales, Solutions, and other SMEs across the company to create compliant, compelling, and competitive proposals that best demonstrates how Rogers delivers innovative solutions that drive business outcomes for our customers.

What you will do:
  • Manage the RFP response process for simple, standard, and complex opportunities according to established corporate policies, deal governance, and internal best practices
  • Participate in opportunity qualification, bid/no bid decision-making, risk identification/mitigation, and other deal review & approval forums
  • Utilize Loopio to drive RFP content, document, and process management productivity
  • Build and maintain strong interlock with Sales & SMEs to ensure awareness/alignment, enhance collaboration, and grow relationship equity & trust
  • Leverage experience, problem solving, and decision-making capabilities to navigate ambiguity & address complexities
  • Perform thorough final review & edit to ensure the response best addresses the client's mandatory & rated requirements to maximize RFP scoring
  • Challenge the status quo and proactively secure feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Spearhead special projects to drive greater speed, scale, and Sales Enablement

What you bring:
  • Proficiently bilingual (English/French) with outstanding oral & written communication skills
  • 5-10 years of experience responding to complex Business & Government RFPs with a strong working knowledge of Federal & Quebec Public Sector procurement processes & online platforms (CanadaBuys, Merx, SEAO, etc)
  • Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field of study
  • Technical background in Telecom and/or Information & Communications Technology
  • Ability to work independently & effectively under pressure while juggling multiple projects & deliverables
  • Team player with a can do/will do attitude; Makes things happen
  • Advanced PC & software skills: MS Office, Outlook, MS Teams, Copilot, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, Salesforce.com, Loopio, Docusign
  • Other assets include:
    • APMP and/or PMP certification
    • Proposal team management experience
